Dr. Cara is a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in the State of Texas and a fully trained Play Therapist. She has her Ph.D. in Pyschology and Christian Counseling and has counseled hundreds of families, individuals, groups, children and adolescents in many different environments over the course of her therapy career, including: private practice; agencies; shelters; and a psychiatric hospital.
Dr. Cara is an award-winning published author and currently writes for www.hrtools.com, as well as doing freelance writing and editing work.
Dr. Cara currently resides in Texas with her husband, Tim, and their two dogs (furry children) Sir William and Teddy Bear, all pictured above. In her spare time, Dr. Cara loves to read, sing and watch movies and T.V.
